When people ask 'Why London?', I say 'Because there is always something happening.' Take tonight for example. Here I am, planning a quiet night at home when the phone rings and I am offered 2 free tickets to see Arsenal play Newcastle.It was our first premiership game. In fact, I think it was our first ever soccer game and like the other 60,000 people we had a ball. Man these crazy English can make some noise. Not knowing anything about either team, we had to go for Arsenal as we were surrounded by red and white.
It did make for a late night for Jack, but if he is tired at school tomorrow, then I am sure the principal will understand. They were her season passes after all.
Chalk up another instance of 'London... never a dull moment.'
