Still no flame..

Ricky from British Gas is here now and I can hear water running, now banging. Percussive maintenance, not a good sign. He has been here so often I know how he takes his coffee. I am not confident of having a hot shower any time soon.

UPDATE: Defeated again. He is now coming back on Monday with his boss (was supposed to turn up with his boss today) to try again. Unbelievable. That will be 9 days with no hot water. Cold showers again for the weekend. Luckily we will be in Greenhithe on Saturday night. Might be able to have a hot shower there.

We are booked to go to Chessington World of Adventure on Sunday with good friends Steve and his son Robert. A boyz day out. Should be great fun. To facilitate an early departure, Jack and I are heading down to Greenhithe on Saturday afternoon and spending the night.
