Cold Shower time

Man the water was cold this morning. There is no way that getting out of a warm bed and into a cold shower can be a good start to the day. Kept finding myself huddling in the corner trying to avoid the water, only to force myself back under the icy torrent. Its not just uncomfortable. It makes a huge difference when shaving too. Instead of the shaving cream (I use the gel) lathering, it seemed to just run off my face, the upshot of which is that the razor scraped across my face like a cheese grater. I think the fact that I had goose bumps everywhere might have added to the torture. All in all, not an experience I want to continue as a habit. Fingers crossed that when British Gas turn up on Friday, they will be able to make fire. My backup plan is to start collecting kindling and source a cauldron from the witch next door.
